My Christian brothers and sisters, I hate to say this, but I am going to say it anyway.

The question keeps coming up. Is Israel being attacked this heavily right now because the Bible prophesied it would happen in the last days?

No. And the reason is simpler than the people selling you the answer want it to be.

The last days that Revelation was talking about already happened. They happened around 70 AD. The last days were never about the end of the world. They were about the end of the age.

So what is the end of the age?

It is the end of the age of animal sacrifice. The end of hauling a lamb up to a temple so a priest could cover your sin for another year. That system ended when the temple came down, because the thing it pointed at had already arrived and finished the job.

Jesus said it plainly. This generation shall not pass till all these things be fulfilled.

Not some generation two thousand years out with a satellite feed and a cable news ticker. That one. The one standing in front of him.

I do not know why church folks make this so complicated. You end up with false doctrine and outright heresy, built on a timeline nobody in the text would have recognized.

And if that has not made you angry yet, let me push further.

Read Revelation carefully and you will see that the persecution in it was not about people being hunted for being Jewish. It was about the change from Judaism to Christianity.

It was specifically about believers in Christ. People who had come to believe that Jesus was the Son of God and God at the same time.

According to the text, it was Jewish people who refused to believe Jesus was God who assisted the antichrists. Plural. There is more than one if you actually read it, and John says so outright when he writes that even now are there many antichrists. They assisted by identifying Christians and handing them over to be killed.

All of that happened then. In and around 70 AD. But that is still not my point.

Here is my point.

They were persecuted for being Christians. They were persecuted for loving Christ instead of the world. They were persecuted for believing that Jesus was God.

Now look at what is in front of you today.

The Jewish people in Israel right now do not believe Jesus was God. That is not an insult, it is their own stated position. Ask almost any of them who Jesus was and you will be told he was a prophet, or a teacher, or a man, and that the real Messiah has not come yet.

So they are not being persecuted for loving Christ instead of the world. They are not being hunted for confessing that Jesus is God. Whatever is happening over there, it is not the thing Revelation described.

What they are facing is the consequence of conduct. A war that has killed civilians on a scale the world is calling genocide. Conflict spreading across a region. Decisions made by a government that any nation on earth would be judged for.

That is a political reckoning.

On top of that, this is a moral reckoning as well. Jeffrey Epstein was Israeli MOSSAD and we all know what he was up to. Child trafficking. Pedophilia. Trapping the world’s elites in sexually perverse scandals.

This is how they controlled the world. By controlling the key cabal storefronts…controlling the leaders. Except for Donald Trump. I digress.

You can argue about it, you can take a side, you can call the world unfair. What you cannot do is open Revelation and find it there.

Because the saints in that book were not dying over borders or airstrikes or foreign policy. They were dying because they would not stop saying the name of Jesus.

Those are not the same thing. They are not close to the same thing.

Yet you will hear preachers say it anyway. Straight-faced, from a stage, with a microphone and a building paid for by people who trusted them. And you will watch a room full of folks who have never read Revelation start to speak in agreement with their hands up.

That is the part that actually grieves me.

Not the politics. The worship.

Because somewhere along the line a lot of believers stopped worshipping God and started worshipping a nationality. They tied their faith to a flag and a bloodline and a patch of ground, and they cannot tell the difference anymore between a covenant and a country.

Scripture already told you who the children of Abraham are. It is those who have the faith of Abraham. Not a passport. Not an ancestry record.

So when somebody asks you whether the Bible predicted this moment, you do not have to be rude about it. Just ask them one question back.

Persecuted for what?

If the answer is not Christ, you are not reading Revelation. You are reading the news and putting a Bible cover on it.
